Gaffer for Commercial Shoot (Los Angeles)

Hey everyone, Jasmine here. I'm a Wardrobe Supervisor working on an upcoming independent commercial production, and we're looking for a skilled Gaffer to join our crew in Los Angeles. This spot is for a local lifestyle brand, focusing on bright, natural light and a clean, modern aesthetic. Think optimistic and engaging, not overly dramatic. We’re aiming for something visually polished and upbeat. We need someone who can work closely with our Cinematographer to execute their vision, manage our lighting package, and lead a small grip and electric team. Experience setting up and striking various lighting setups, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety on set is key. Please have your own basic G&E kit, though we will be renting a larger package. Your reel should showcase your ability to create diverse looks for commercial or narrative projects. While any experience level is welcome, a strong portfolio is essential. Shoot dates are approximately two to three full days in late July, with some flexibility for prep. We're offering a co-producer credit and backend participation, as this is a partnership opportunity.
