Gaffer (Senior) Commercial, Nashville, TN

Hey Nashville film community, I'm Andre, a music composer working on an upcoming commercial project, and I'm looking for a senior Gaffer to join our crew. This is a dynamic, high-energy commercial with a modern, sleek aesthetic, focusing on product demonstration with some creative lighting challenges. We need someone who can translate a director's vision into striking visuals and manage our lighting department efficiently. Your main responsibilities will include designing and executing lighting setups, managing the electric and grip team, and ensuring all lighting is safe and effective. You'll need your own basic G&E kit, and extensive experience on commercial sets is a must. Please have a strong portfolio or reel demonstrating your lighting capabilities for commercial work. We're looking for someone with an eye for detail and the ability to work quickly within a tight schedule. Shoot dates are approximately July 15-18, daily hours will be 10-12, and we'll provide all specialty lighting equipment beyond your basic kit, plus craft services and meals. This is an independent production, a great chance to create some really polished work for a well-known brand. Day rate is competitive, ranging from $300-$500 depending on experience.
