1st AC for NYC Commercial Shoot (entry)

A high-energy, visually driven commercial for an independent sportswear brand is seeking a motivated 1st AC to join our small, enthusiastic crew. This project is all about dynamic motion and clean, crisp imagery to highlight athletic performance. It's a great opportunity to gain hands-on commercial experience in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include pulling focus, managing camera equipment, setting up and striking down the camera package, and assisting the DP with all camera-related tasks. Candidates should have a foundational understanding of camera systems, lens types, and focus pulling techniques. Some previous experience as a 2nd AC or strong film school training is preferred. Please provide a brief resume or list of relevant projects. A 1-2 day shoot is planned for late September or early October 2026, with an estimated 10-12 hour workday. We are seeking local NYC crew members. Camera package will be provided, but a basic toolkit is expected. This is a paid position at $250/day flat.
