Directing for Pilot

Hey filmmakers, I'm Andre, a music composer, looking for a talented and enthusiastic Director for an upcoming pilot episode. This project is a music-driven dramedy exploring the lives of aspiring musicians in Nashville, think 'Ted Lasso' meets 'Nashville' with a touch of indie charm. We want to capture the energy and heart of the local music scene. As Director, you'll be responsible for bringing our script to life, guiding performances, blocking scenes, and working closely with the DP to establish a visual style. We're looking for someone with a strong visual storytelling sense, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit. Gear is not a requirement, we have that covered. You'll need to demonstrate your abilities through a directing reel or portfolio showcasing your narrative work, even if it's student films or short form content. This is a great opportunity to gain experience on a narrative production. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for late September or early October, expecting 3-4 full days of shooting. We're offering a rate of $200-400 per day, depending on experience. Meals and on-set refreshments will be provided.
