Sound Designer, Indie Feature (Atlanta)

Hey filmmakers! We're looking for a passionate Sound Designer to join our indie feature film. It's a gripping psychological thriller with some dramatic elements, set in a small, isolated community. Think tense atmospherics and subtle soundscapes to really build the suspense. We're aiming for a dark, immersive feel, and sound will be crucial in achieving that. You'll be responsible for all aspects of sound design, from cleaning up dialogue to foley, atmos, and sound effects. We're looking for someone creative who can bring their artistic vision to the project and enhance the storytelling through audio. Please have your own sound design workstation and software. Experience level isn't as important as your enthusiasm and a strong portfolio demonstrating your ear for detail. Please include a link to your reel or some work samples! We're shooting mainly weekends in the Atlanta area, with principal photography planned for early summer (July-August, exact dates TBD, but flexible). This is a volunteer position, but we'll provide meals on set, and you'll receive a copy of the final film for your reel.
