Senior Sound Designer, Pilot (Brooklyn, NY)

Hey all, I'm helping the team find a Senior Sound Designer for an upcoming independent pilot. It's a dark comedy, kind of a quirky, surreal take on navigating adulthood in NYC. We're really looking for someone who can bring a unique sonic landscape to enhance the humor and underlying anxiety of the story. Think creative foley, atmospheric design, and a knack for finding the unexpected in everyday sounds. You'll be responsible for all post-production sound design, including effects, ambiences, and ensuring a polished final mix. We're looking for someone with significant experience in narrative work, specifically with a strong reel demonstrating your creative sound contributions. Please have your own Pro Tools suite or equivalent professional DAW and a solid sound effects library. This is a paid gig, $250/day flat rate for approximately 3-4 days of work, loosely scheduled for late July/early August, but we can be flexible. We'll handle dialogue editing and music supervision separately. Looking forward to hearing from you!
