Director for Sci-Fi Web Series, Albuquerque

Looking for a talented director to helm an exciting new independent sci-fi web series based in Albuquerque. This project is a character-driven thriller with a unique time-travel element, exploring themes of memory and consequence. We're looking for someone who can bring a strong visual style and has a knack for engaging performances. Your main responsibilities will include collaborating with the showrunner to refine scripts, leading the creative vision on set, and guiding our actors to deliver compelling portrayals. While previous directing experience is a plus, we're open to fresh voices with a strong reel that demonstrates your directorial vision, even if it's from student films or short-form content. You should be able to provide your own directing kit (monitor, slate, etc.) if possible, though some basic equipment can be arranged. Anticipated shoot dates are 8-10 days, tentatively scheduled for late summer/early fall. Days will generally be 10-12 hours. Compensation is $200-400 per day, depending on experience. Meals and on-set transport will be provided.
