Editor, Music Video (Entry Level)

Hey everyone, I'm Noah, a motion graphics artist working on an independent music video project and I'm looking for an entry-level editor to join the team. This is for a really cool indie pop track with a vibrant, energetic vibe that we're hoping to capture visually. Think bright colors, quick cuts, and a strong sense of rhythm tying it all together. Your main gig will be assembling the raw footage into a compelling narrative that matches the song's energy. We're looking for someone with a good eye for pacing and storytelling, even if you’re just starting out. You'll need your own editing software (Premiere Pro preferred) and a basic understanding of video codecs and delivery specs. A reel demonstrating some of your past work, even student projects or personal cuts, is a must. We anticipate shooting in late July or early August, with approximately 2-3 full days of editing needed, possibly more for revisions. We’re offering $1000-1500 per day for your work. We're based in Brooklyn, and while in-person collaboration is a plus, this can definitely be a remote position. Let me know if you're interested!
