Editing for Web Series

Hey fellow filmmakers, we're on the lookout for a talented editor to help bring our new web series to life. It's a comedic drama, think 'Insecure' meets 'Living Single,' focusing on the hilarious and sometimes heartbreaking experiences of young professionals navigating life in Miami. We've got some great footage already, full of vibrant characters and snappy dialogue. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your reel with a fun, engaging project that’s sure to get some buzz. You'll be responsible for assembling raw footage into a polished final product, refining pacing, color correction, sound mixing, and adding any necessary graphics or text. We're looking for someone with a good eye for storytelling and a feel for comedic timing. You'll need your own editing software and preferably a decent workstation. While we're open to all experience levels, a strong reel demonstrating your editing chops is a must. We're aiming to have initial cuts completed over the next 4-6 weeks, with flexible hours that can work around your schedule. This is a volunteer position, but we'll definitely cover your meals during working sessions and you'll get a full copy of the finished series for your portfolio. Let's make something awesome together!
