Documentary Editor (Any Experience)

Hey filmmakers, I'm Marco DeLuca, an underwater cinematographer working on an independent documentary project about critical coral reef ecosystems in Florida. This film aims to be visually stunning, educational, and inspiring, blending scientific insight with breathtaking underwater footage. We're looking for a talented editor to help shape this unique story. Your primary responsibility will be assembling raw footage, cutting sequences, sound design, color correction, and ensuring a cohesive narrative flow. You'll work closely with me to realize the film's vision. Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve is required. Please have a reel or examples of your editing work ready to share. This is a remote position based in Miami, FL, though we can be flexible if you're local and want to collaborate in person sometimes. We don't have hard shoot dates for post-production yet, but anticipating a 3-6 month commitment, flexible hours. All necessary footage and existing sound will be provided.
