Colorist for Indie Music Video
Hey everyone, Alex here. I'm a 2nd AC working on an exciting independent music video and we're on the hunt for a talented Colorist to join our crew. This project is a visually driven, dynamic indie rock music video with some cool surreal elements, think Tame Impala meets Bon Iver. We've got some great footage already, and we need someone to really make it pop and define the aesthetic. Your main responsibilities will be to consult with the director and DP to establish the perform primary and secondary color correction, and deliver final graded footage in requested formats. You'll need access to professional color grading software, preferably DaVinci Resolve, and a calibrated monitor. We're open to all experience levels, from rising talent to seasoned pros, as long as you have a strong reel demonstrating your eye for color and storytelling. We anticipate grading will take place over 2-3 full days, flexible within a two-week window in late May. We're shooting in and around Los Angeles. We'll provide all ungraded footage, a rough cut, and detailed creative notes. Compensation is TBD based on experience. Let's make something awesome together!
