Colorist for Corporate Video, Auckland

Looking for a talented mid-level Colorist to join our independent production on an upcoming corporate video project in Auckland. This is a passion project, so we're looking for someone enthusiastic about making a real visual impact. The video will be for a non-profit, showcasing their community work with a warm, authentic tone, highlighting human connection and positive change. It's a fantastic opportunity to build your reel with meaningful content. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating closely with the director and editor to establish the look and feel, performing primary and secondary color corrections, ensuring consistent grading across all footage, and delivering final graded files. We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of color theory and grading software, preferably DaVinci Resolve. Please have access to your own grading station and monitoring setup. A strong reel demonstrating your eye for color and ability to tell a story visually is essential. Shoot dates are provisionally set for early October, with post production expected to run through November. We anticipate around 20-30 hours of work over that period, flexible to accommodate your schedule. While this is an unpaid, volunteer position, you'll gain valuable experience, a great credit, and we'll provide all raw footage and editor's timelines. Let's make something beautiful together!
