Color Grading for Short Film

Hey everyone, James here. I’m a sound designer working on a pretty cool sci-fi short film and we’re on the hunt for a senior colorist to join our post-production team. This is an ambitious independent production, a mind-bending journey with some really strong practical effects and a unique, atmospheric approach to the genre. We've got a lot of interesting world-building to enhance through color. We need someone with a refined eye who can help us establish a distinctive visual tone, correct footage, and ensure consistency across various scenes. You'll be working closely with the director and DP. Strong proficiency with DaVinci Resolve is a must, and we're looking for someone who has their own setup for grading. Please have a strong reel demonstrating your expertise, particularly with narrative work. Post-production is slated for late July, early August. We anticipate about 3-4 days of work, approximately 8-10 hours per day, though that's flexible. We’re offering a flat rate of $250/day. We'll provide all necessary files and a clear vision.
