Sound Designer, Corporate Video (Volunteer)

Hey filmmakers, Nathan Cordova here. We're looking for a talented Sound Designer to join our small, independent production team for an upcoming corporate video project in Albuquerque. This isn't your typical dry corporate piece, though. We're aiming for a really polished, almost cinematic feel to tell a compelling story about innovation, so high-quality sound design will be crucial in elevating the overall impact and making it stand out. Your main responsibilities will include creating and implementing all sound effects, foley, and atmospherics, as well as mixing and mastering the final audio track. We'll provide all dialogue and music tracks. We're looking for someone with mid-level experience who understands how to build rich soundscapes that enhance narrative and emotional impact. You should have your own editing software and sound effects library. A strong reel showcasing your sound design work is a must. This is a passion project and currently a volunteer position, but it's a great opportunity to get some strong work for your portfolio and collaborate with a dedicated crew. We're open to working with your schedule, but expect a commitment of about 40-60 hours spread over 3-4 weeks, likely in late July to early August. We can provide some snacks and drinks, and good company on set. Let's make something awesome together!
