Sound Designer for Short Sci-Fi Thriller

Hey everyone, Sam here (I often boom on local indie sets). We're looking for a talented Sound Designer for an upcoming short film, 'Chrono-Shift.' It's a suspenseful sci-fi thriller with a strong psychological element, focusing on a scientist trapped in a time loop. We need someone who can craft an immersive and unsettling auditory landscape, really emphasizing the feeling of disorientation and dread. You'll be responsible for creating and sourcing all sound effects, foley, and ambient textures, ultimately helping to build tension and enhance the narrative. Ideally, you’ll have your own sound design software and a solid understanding of how sound can drive story. Please share your reel or a link to previous work. We're open to all experience levels, from burgeoning talent to seasoned pros, as long as you're passionate and have a good ear. Shoot dates are tentatively set for late June in NYC, with post-production through July. This is an independent production, so compensation will be deferred, but we're committed to making a great film and ensuring everyone gets a strong credit for their work.
