Sound Design for Pilot

Looking for a talented Sound Designer to join our team for an exciting sci-fi pilot, a proof of concept for a larger series. This project has a dark, atmospheric tone, blending sci-fi technology with gritty, grounded realism. We're creating a unique sonic world that truly elevates the narrative and sets the mood. Your main responsibilities will involve designing, sourcing, and mixing all sound elements, including Fx, ambiences, and foley, to create an immersive audio landscape. Collaboration with the picture editor and director will be key throughout the post-production process. We're open to all experience levels, from emerging talent to seasoned pros, as long as you have a strong ear and a powerful reel showcasing your sound design capabilities. While we don't expect you to own a full studio, access to your own DAW and a library of sound effects is a must. We're looking for someone creative who can bring their own unique vision to the table. This is a Nashville local position. Post-production will likely begin in summer, exact dates TBD, and we anticipate approximately 4-6 weeks of work, flexible around your schedule. Compensation is deferred with a backend percentage, offering a stake in the project's future success. We're a passionate, independent production looking for someone to help us make something truly special.
