Sound Designer, Feature Film (Remote OK)

Hey everyone, Tomáš here. I'm gaffing an exciting independent feature film and we're on the hunt for a talented Sound Designer to join our crew. This is a dramatic thriller, a character-driven story with some really unique atmospheric elements we want to push creatively. Think tense, psychological, with moments of surprising beauty creeping in. We need someone who can craft a sonic landscape that truly elevates the narrative tension and emotional depth. Your main responsibilities will include designing and implementing all sound effects, ambient tracks, and foley, collaborating closely with our director on the overall sound aesthetic, and ensuring final mix readiness. We're looking for someone with a strong portfolio or a solid reel demonstrating your sound design chops, particularly in dramatic or thriller genres. While we're based in Prague, we're open to remote work for the right candidate. We don't have hard experience requirements, if your work is great, we want to see it! Compensation is $150-300 per day, negotiable depending on experience. We're aiming for principal photography to wrap up in the next month or so post production will kick off shortly after. Expect flexible hours, project based. We'll provide all necessary picture lock files and relevant sound assets. Looking forward to reviewing your applications!
