Production Designer, Feature Film (Indie Drama)

Hey everyone, Andre here. I'm a composer working on an upcoming independent feature film out of Nashville and we're looking for a talented Production Designer to join our team. This is a dramatic narrative with elements of magical realism, exploring themes of memory and loss in a unique, intimate way. We're aiming for a grounded, slightly melancholic visual style, but one that allows for moments of evocative beauty. We need someone with a strong artistic vision who can help translate our script into compelling, tangible environments. Your main responsibilities will include designing and overseeing the creation of sets, props, and overall visual aesthetics. We'll need your input on location scouting as well, ensuring our chosen spaces align with our vision. Experience level is open - whether you're new to feature films or a seasoned pro, if you have a strong portfolio and passion, we want to hear from you. Shooting is tentatively scheduled for late summer (August-September) for approximately 15-20 days, mostly weekdays, with some flexibility. We're providing all necessary materials and tools for set dressing and construction, plus production assistance for execution.
