Sound Designer, Corporate Video Series (Entry-Level)
Hey filmmakers, I'm Tanya, a DP on an upcoming corporate video series looking for a passionate entry-level Sound Designer. This isn't your typical dry corporate fare; we're crafting a series of concise, engaging explanatory videos for a tech client, focusing on a clean, modern aesthetic with a touch of elegance. Think explainer videos with a higher production value and a warm, inviting tone. Your main responsibilities will include cleaning up dialogue, designing subtle soundscapes, foley, and mixing for a polished, professional sound. We need someone who can take raw audio tracks and transform them into a cohesive, impactful auditory experience that complements the visuals without overpowering them. Ideally, you'll have your own basic sound editing software and a reliable workflow. We're looking for someone with a strong ear, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and collaborate. While previous corporate video experience is a bonus, a solid reel showcasing your sound design skills on any type of project is key. We're open to recent film school grads or self-taught creatives looking to build their portfolio. Post-production is slated for late July into August, with flexible hours. This is an independent production, so compensation is deferred, proportionate to the backend percentage of the project. This is a great opportunity to get some significant credits on a professional project and build connections within the LA production scene. Please send your reel and a brief introduction about why you're a good fit.
