Sound Designer - Web Series, LA

Hey everyone, I'm Corey, and I'm looking for a talented Sound Designer to join our small independent production team for an upcoming web series. It's an exciting project, a dark comedy with elements of supernatural horror, think 'What We Do in the Shadows' meets 'American Horror Story.' We're aiming for a really distinct soundscape that can go from goofy to genuinely creepy at a moment's notice. You'll be responsible for creating and implementing all sound effects, ambient tracks, and foley, helping us define the sonic world of this weird and wonderful show. We're open to all experience levels, from seasoned pros to enthusiastic newcomers eager to build their reel. While we don't have a huge budget, we're passionate about making something great. You should have your own equipment and software for sound design work. Please send over your reel or some examples of your previous work so we can get a feel for your style. Our production dates are flexible but we're looking to start recording dialogue and principal photography in late summer, early fall. This is a volunteer position, but meals will be provided on set, and you'll receive a copy of the final series for your portfolio. We're a tight-knit crew, and this is a great opportunity to collaborate on a unique project and gain valuable experience.
