Senior Sound Designer, Thriller Feature Film

Hey everyone, Naomi here. I'm looking for a senior Sound Designer to join us for an upcoming independent production. It's a psychological thriller feature film. We're aiming for a really unsettling, immersive soundscape, so this is a chance to get creative and really shape the film's tone. Think subtle creeps, not jump scares, but with moments of intense sonic impact. We're on a tight schedule, but we're passionate about making something great. Your main responsibilities will include dialogue cleanup, foley recording and editing, sound effects design, and overall sound mixing supervision. You'll work closely with our director and editor to refine the audio vision. We need someone who’s got their own studio setup and a strong reel demonstrating experience with complex sound design for features. Ideally, you’re proficient in Pro Tools and have a good ear for storytelling through sound. Shoot dates are TBD but looking at early fall, with post-production kicking off shortly after. Expect pretty standard 10-hour days in post. We'll provide all picture and sound cuts, and you'll be integrated into the post team.
