Gaffer (Any Experience) - Corporate Video

Hey everyone, Ben Castillo here, bringing a corporate video project to life and seeking a talented Gaffer. We're shooting a dynamic, engaging corporate video for a tech company, showcasing their innovative new product. This isn't your average talking head video, we're aiming for a polished, cinematic look to really elevate their brand story. Think clean, modern, and visually compelling. Your main responsibilities will be to execute the lighting plan, working closely with myself and the DP to achieve the desired aesthetic. We'll need you to set up and manage all lighting equipment, ensuring proper power distribution and safety. Because I'm a stunt coordinator, I'm used to working with meticulous and safety-conscious people, so attention to detail is key. We're open to all experience levels, from burgeoning talent to seasoned pros. What matters most is a good attitude, a willingness to learn (if you're newer), and a solid understanding of lighting principles. Having your own basic lighting kit is a plus, but we’ll be providing the majority of the specialized gear. A reel or portfolio demonstrating your work is definitely appreciated, even if it's student work or smaller projects. Shoot dates are approximately late June, early July, for 2-3 days, 10-12 hour days. We'll be shooting in various locations around Los Angeles.
