Gaffer for Sci-Fi Drama Short

Seeking a Gaffer for an upcoming independent short film, a sci-fi drama exploring themes of memory and connection. It's a visually driven piece, utilizing a blend of practical and stylized lighting to create an intimate, slightly unsettling atmosphere. You'll be responsible for executing the lighting plan, collaborating closely with the DP to achieve the desired and managing lighting equipment on set. We're looking for someone with a solid understanding of lighting principles and safety. Experience levels are open, so if you're passionate and eager to contribute, please apply. Please have a basic set of lighting tools or access to a kit you can bring. A reel or examples of previous work are a huge plus so we can get a feel for your style. We anticipate a 2-3 day shoot in late July (dates TBD, flexible based on crew availability) mostly in Brooklyn, and we're looking at 10-12 hour days. This is a partnership opportunity, offering co-producer credit and backend participation. Meals and transportation stipends will be provided on shoot days.
