Gaffer (Senior) for Nashville Commercial Shoot

Hey Nashville lighting pros! I'm a boom op on an independent commercial project and we're on the hunt for a senior Gaffer. This is for a high-energy, visually driven ad focusing on a local startup, think clean, dynamic shots with a modern feel. We need someone who can lead a small lighting team (we'll have grips) and really bring some creative energy to the set. Your key responsibilities will involve collaborating with the DP on lighting design, executing the lighting plan, managing gear, and ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely. We're looking for someone with a strong reel demonstrating experience in commercial lighting, especially with a polished, contemporary look. You don't need to bring a full truck, but knowledge of current LED technologies and practical rigging methods is a must. Shoot dates are approximately 2-3 days in early to mid-August, exact dates TBD. Days will be full, likely 10-12 hours. We'll provide all necessary C-stands, flags, sandbags, and a basic lighting package, but your expertise in maximizing what we have is key. Compensation is points plus deferred payment.
