Gaffer (Mid-Level) for Corporate Video

Hey filmmakers, we're looking for a skilled Gaffer to join our team for an upcoming corporate video project in Los Angeles. This isn't your average corporate gig, we're aiming for a polished, cinematic look to elevate brand messaging so we need someone with a keen eye for lighting. The project involves a mix of interviews, product demos, and stylized b-roll. You'll be responsible for executing the lighting plan, working closely with the DP, and managing lighting gear on set effectively. We're looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of experience in corporate or commercial work, a strong understanding of various lighting techniques, and the ability to troubleshoot quickly. Please have your own basic lighting kit available for use, larger specialized gear will be rented as needed. A reel showcasing your best work is a must. Shoot dates are tentatively set for late July, early August (approx. 2-3 days total), with typical 10-12 hour days. Lunch and snacks will be provided on set. Pay is $150-300 per day, negotiable based on experience and gear contribution.
