Gaffer (Web Series, Minneapolis)

Hey filmmakers, we're looking for an experienced Gaffer to join our upcoming web series production. This project is a quirky, character-driven comedy with some light fantasy elements, think 'What We Do in the Shadows' meets 'Portlandia.' We're aiming for a stylized, slightly heightened reality look that will require creative lighting solutions. As our Gaffer, you'll be responsible for executing the lighting plan, managing our small grip and electric team, and ensuring all lighting is safe and efficient. We'll be relying on your expertise to help us achieve our desired visual tone within our independent production's budget. You should have your own basic grip and electric package or access to one, and a strong reel demonstrating your gaffing experience on similar projects is a must. Shoot dates are approximately late June to early July, likely 10-hour days. We'll provide craft services and meals on set. We're a small, dedicated crew and looking for someone collaborative who's excited to bring their vision to this fun project. Looking forward to seeing your work!
