Senior Gaffer, Music Video (Chicago)

Hey Chicago filmmakers, I'm a storyboard artist working on an exciting upcoming music video and we're on the hunt for an experienced Gaffer to join our crew. This is for an independent production, a psychedelic indie pop track with a dreamy, surreal vibe. We're aiming for कुछ bold and visually striking, lots of interesting color work and abstract lighting concepts. We need someone with strong creative input who can translate our vision into compelling lighting designs. You'll be responsible for leading the lighting team, rigging, operating, and maintaining all lighting equipment, and working closely with the Cinematographer to achieve the desired look. You should have significant gaffing experience on music videos or similar projects and ideally come with your own basic gaff kit, though we'll have a lighting package as well. A strong reel showcasing your work is essential. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for late July for 2-3 full days. We're providing meals and craft services on set, and you'll receive full credit for your work.
