Video Editor, Commercial Shoot (Atlanta)

Hey filmmakers, I'm looking for a skilled video editor to join our team for an upcoming commercial project. This is a fast-paced, high-energy shoot for a local tech startup, aiming for a modern, sleek, and slightly humorous tone. We're looking for someone who can craft a compelling narrative from our footage and deliver a polished final product that truly pops. Your main responsibilities will include ingesting and organizing footage, assembling rough cuts, incorporating graphics and sound design elements (provided, but your input is welcome), and collaborating with the director on revisions until final delivery. We anticipate a 3-4 day editing schedule. Ideally, you’d have your own editing suite (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred) and a strong understanding of commercial pacing and visual storytelling. Please share your reel with examples of your commercial or short-form narrative work. Shoot dates are set for mid-July, so editing would begin shortly after. We're offering a flat rate of $250 per day for your expertise. While you'll be working independently for much of the project, we'll have regular check-ins and feedback sessions.
