Art Department for Web Series

Our independent production is seeking an experienced Set Dresser to join our art department team for an upcoming web series shooting in New Orleans. This is a character-driven drama with a gritty, realistic tone, exploring themes of resilience in the face of urban challenges. We're building unique worlds for our characters, and your eye for detail will be crucial in bringing these environments to life authentically. Key responsibilities include sourcing and placing props and set dressing elements, collaborating closely with the Production Designer and Art Director, maintaining continuity, and assisting with set strike. You'll be working hands-on to create compelling visual narratives. We're looking for someone with at least 5 years of art department experience, specifically in set dressing roles. A strong portfolio or reel demonstrating your ability to dress sets with authenticity and creativity is essential. While we have a core prop kit, familiarity with local rental houses and prop sourcing in New Orleans is a big plus. You should be able to work efficiently and creatively within a modest budget. Prep will begin in late October 2026, with principal photography scheduled for approximately 10-12 shoot days across early to mid-November 2026. This is a volunteer position, offering valuable on-set experience, credit, and all meals during prep and production days. Expect 10-12 hour days during production.
