Assistant Editor, Nashville Commercial Spot

Looking for an Assistant Editor, $200-400/day for an upcoming commercial project, approximately 2-3 weeks of work between late August or early September 2026, with an initial rough cut due around August 15th. This is for a high energy commercial promoting a local service, combining sleek visuals with a modern, dynamic vibe, designed to be sharp and impactful for social media and local TV. You'll be responsible for organizing footage, syncing audio, managing media, creating dailies, and preparing sequences for the lead editor. We value a strong understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro, meticulous organizational skills, and a good eye for detail. While entry-level, some prior experience assisting on commercials or short form content would be a huge plus. Please provide a link to your reel or any relevant work samples showcasing your organizational abilities, even if it's not a full edit. We'll be working remotely for the most part, but with opportunities for in-person collaboration in Nashville as needed. This is an independent production, so you'll be joining a small, dedicated team. Your own editing system is preferred, but open to discussing provided equipment if necessary.
