Post-Production for Web Series

An independent production is seeking a talented Senior Editor for an upcoming sci-fi comedy web series. This project is a quirky, fast-paced narrative with a distinct visual style, exploring relatable anxieties through a fantastical lens. We're looking for someone who can really dig into the humor and heart of the story, making it sing in the edit. Key responsibilities include assembling rough cuts, refining pacing and rhythm, implementing sound design, and working closely with the director to achieve the final vision. You'll need a strong sense of story, comedic timing, and experience with visual effects integration, especially green screen work and motion graphics (we've got a killer MGFX artist on board, so you'll be collaborating there). Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro is essential, and please include a reel or portfolio demonstrating your narrative editing experience, particularly in comedy or sci-fi. This is a senior-level position. We anticipate about 3-4 weeks of work, starting early September 2026. We're offering a rate of $500-800/day, based on experience.
