Post-Production Supervisor, Sci-Fi Pilot

Pilot Post-Production Vancouver, BC entry Budget: No pay (passion project)

Hey there! We’re putting together a lean, mean crew for an exciting sci-fi pilot we’re shooting here in Vancouver. This is a passion project, a proof-of-concept short exploring unique AI ethics in a retro-futuristic world, and we're aiming for a moody, grounded aesthetic with some cool practical effects. I'm a VFX compositor on the team and we're looking for an enthusiastic Post-Production Supervisor to help us bridge that gap from picture lock to final delivery. Your main responsibilities will include managing the post-production workflow, coordinating with editors, sound designers, and colorists, and ensuring all assets are delivered on time and to spec. Basically, being the glue that holds post together. We're an independent production, so you'll need to be adaptable and solution-oriented. No specific gear is required for this role, though familiarity with industry-standard post-production pipelines and software is a big plus. We’re open to entry-level folks with a strong organizational backbone and a real desire to learn and contribute to a cool project. While this is a volunteer position, it’s a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on experience, build your network, and get a credit on a project with serious potential. A reel or portfolio demonstrating any organizational or project management skills, even from non-film projects, would be great. Shoot dates are TBD but looking at late August or early September 2026, and post will likely be spread out over a few months, flexible hours. Coffee and good vibes provided!
