Entry-Level Sound Designer, Commercial Spot
Hey filmmakers, I'm looking for an enthusiastic entry-level sound designer to join an upcoming commercial project. This is a short, dynamic spot for a new tech product, aiming for a sleek, modern, and slightly futuristic feel. Think crisp sound effects, clean transitions, and an overall polished audio landscape that enhances the visual storytelling without being overly dominant. Your main responsibilities will include creating a full sound design for the 30-second commercial, including foley, sound effects, and ambient audio. You'll work closely with the editor to integrate the soundscape effectively. Ideally, you'll have some basic experience in sound design, perhaps from student films or personal projects. A strong understanding of audio post-production software (like Pro Tools, Logic, or Adobe Audition) is a must. Please share a reel or portfolio demonstrating your work, even if it's from passion projects. This is a deferred pay position, common for independent productions, but it's a great opportunity to get a commercial credit on your resume and build connections. We're looking to complete this in late July, early August, with flexible hours that can accommodate your schedule. You'll need your own workstation and software. We'll provide all video files and a temp mix to get you started. Excited to hear from you and collaborate on this!
