Gaffer (Entry) - Commercial Shoot, NOLA

Hey everyone, I'm helping put together a small crew for an upcoming commercial shoot here in New Orleans. We're looking for a sharp entry-level Gaffer who's ready to jump in and bring some creative lighting to our project. It's a stylish, upbeat commercial for a local tech startup, so we'll be aiming for clean, modern looks with a touch of New Orleans character. You'll be working closely with our DP to execute their vision, running cable, setting up and striking lights, and generally keeping things powered up and safe. Good communication and a proactive attitude are key. We're an independent production, so a willingness to wear a few hats is always appreciated. Shoot days are tentatively set for early September for about 3-4 days total, 10-12 hour days. You'll need your own basic kit, including a multi-tool and work gloves. Any experience with LED panels or small HMI units is a plus, but definitely not a deal-breaker if you're eager to learn. Compensation is $500-800/day, depending on experience.
