Color Grading for Feature Film

Feature Film Color Grading 🌍 Remote mid Budget: Deferred pay

An independent production is seeking a talented mid-level Colorist for an upcoming dramatic feature film. This project is a character-driven drama with elements of psychological thriller, set against a stark, urban backdrop. We're aiming for a grounded, naturalistic look with subtle atmospheric tension. Your expertise will be crucial in helping us define the film's visual language and emotional impact. You'll be responsible for all aspects of color grading, including primary and secondary corrections, matching shots, and delivering final graded masters in various formats. We require a Colorist with their own grading suite, proficient in industry-standard software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve) and a strong understanding of color science, LUTs, and various camera codecs. Experience with feature film workflows is a must. Please submit your reel showcasing your dramatic and narrative work. We anticipate approximately 3 weeks of work, primarily in the last week of October 2026, with flexibility into November 2026. This is a deferred pay position, common for independent features, with an agreed-upon percentage of net profits. Remote work is acceptable, but preference may be given to those in the Atlanta, GA area for occasional in-person reviews. We will provide an OMF/AAF export and a locked picture cut for your workflow.
