Senior Colorist, Feature Documentary (Remote OK)
Seeking a Senior Colorist for an upcoming feature documentary, available for approximately 3-4 weeks of work starting late November 2026. This is a paid position offering $500-800/day, depending on experience and deliverables. We're looking for someone to help shape the final look of a compelling, character-driven independent production, focusing on social justice themes with a gritty, realistic tone. We need a colorist who can enhance the emotional impact and maintain visual consistency across diverse archival and modern footage. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the director to establish a cohesive aesthetic, performing primary and secondary grading, noise reduction, and final delivery for broadcast/streaming. You'll need access to your own professional color grading suite (DaVinci Resolve preferred) and reliable high-speed internet for remote work. Local candidates in Atlanta, GA are welcome to work in a hybrid setup. Applicants must have extensive experience (5+ years) with feature-length documentaries or similar long-form content.
