Color Grading for Music Video
An indie pop artist seeks a dynamic visual identity for their upcoming single, exploring themes of urban melancholy and hopeful transformation. We're looking for a mid-level Colorist to join our post-production team for a Chicago-based music video project. You will be responsible for creating and implementing the final color grade, working closely with the director to establish a cohesive and impactful aesthetic that enhances the narrative and mood of the piece. This includes color correction, matching shots, and developing distinct looks. We anticipate a 1-2 day shoot in early October 2026, with post-production including color grading to commence in mid-to-late October 2026. Applicants should have a strong understanding of color theory, experience with DaVinci Resolve or similar software, and a reel demonstrating work on music videos or short-form narrative content. This is an independent production offering deferred compensation (points + deferred pay) with potential for festival exposure. We provide raw footage and a detailed creative brief. Please submit your resume and a link to your reel by October 30, 2026.
