Color Grading for Pilot
Seeking a mid-level Colorist for a drama pilot in New York City, offering $150-300/day. This project is a gritty, character-driven drama pilot with a dark, atmospheric tone, akin to early 2000s psychological thrillers, focusing on the human elements of a crime investigation. We're looking for someone who can help define the visual language and bring a consistent, evocative look to the series. The work will involve about 3 weeks of work, primarily in the second half of November 2026. Key responsibilities include precise color correction, grading to enhance mood and narrative, and ensuring technical delivery specs are met. You should have your own grading suite and monitor calibration equipment, a strong understanding of DaVinci Resolve, and at least 3-5 years of experience coloring narrative short films or episodic content. Please provide a link to your reel showcasing your best dramatic work. Project files and reference materials will be provided, and we anticipate working remotely with check-ins, though some in-person sessions in New York, NY may be required for critical reviews.
