Directing for Corporate Video

Hey filmmakers, I'm Keith, a generator operator with a small production company, and we're looking to staff a talented director for an upcoming series of corporate marketing videos. This isn't your average talking-head snooze-fest; we're aiming for dynamic, engaging content that uses creative storytelling to highlight innovative products and services. Think energetic, modern, and visually appealing without being overly flashy. We need someone who can lead a small crew, articulate a clear vision, and bring a polished, professional aesthetic to the screen. Key responsibilities include collaborating on concept development, leading shoots, guiding talent, and ensuring the final product aligns with client objectives. You'll need substantial experience directing corporate or commercial projects, a strong portfolio showcasing your work, and excellent communication skills. While we'll provide the camera package and lighting, familiarity with various DSLR/mirrorless systems and basic grip equipment is a plus. We're planning for approximately 2-3 shoot days per video, likely in the second half of June, with potential for ongoing work. Pay is $150-300/day, depending on experience. Based in Chicago, IL.
