Director: Sci-Fi Pilot

Hey filmmakers, we're on the hunt for a seasoned Director to helm an exciting sci-fi pilot currently in development. This project is a gritty, character-driven story set in a near-future Atlanta, exploring themes of surveillance and personal freedom. Think elevated sci-fi, not overly reliant on special effects, with a strong emphasis on performance and atmosphere. We're looking for someone who can bring a distinct visual flair and a nuanced approach to storytelling. Your main gig will be guiding the cast and crew through principal photography, ensuring our vision translates to the screen, and collaborating closely with our DP and producers. We need a Director with a strong background in dramatic storytelling, ideally with sci-fi elements under their belt. Please have a solid reel demonstrating your narrative work and directorial style. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for late September, early October, aiming for 10-12 hour days over five shooting days. Compensation is $150-300 per day, depending on experience. We'll be providing all necessary production equipment, crew, and location management. This is an excellent opportunity to leave your creative mark on an independent production with real potential.
