Directing for Corporate Video

Shooting in Austin, TX for 1-2 days in the first half of September 2026, we're seeking a Director for an independent corporate video project. This piece will be a concise, engaging brand story for a tech startup, showcasing their innovative culture and product benefits. We're aiming for a modern, aspirational tone, avoiding typical corporate dryness. It's a fantastic opportunity to bring a fresh perspective to a B2B narrative and create something visually impactful. This project has a clear vision, but we're eager to collaborate with a director who can elevate it. You'll be responsible for creative leadership on set, collaborating with the DP and crew to execute the visual style, guiding talent, and ensuring the story's emotional and informational beats are met. We're looking for someone with a strong visual sensibility, excellent communication skills, and experience directing non-actors. While gear is provided, comfort with contemporary digital cinema cameras (e.g., Blackmagic, RED, Sony FX series) is a plus. Please submit a reel or portfolio showcasing relevant directing work. Expect about 3 weeks of work in total, including prep and a 1-2 day shoot. Compensation is $2000-3000/week, dependent on experience. We provide catering on shoot days and a positive, collaborative set environment.
