Directing for Feature Film

A disgraced detective uncovers a chilling conspiracy tied to his city's elite. We're seeking an enthusiastic, entry-level Director to helm our independent neo-noir feature film, shooting in Dublin. This project offers a fantastic opportunity to build your feature film directing credits on a compelling story with a dark, atmospheric tone. You'll be responsible for creative vision, guiding cast and crew, and ensuring the story translates effectively to screen. We're looking for someone with a strong visual style, excellent communication skills, and a clear understanding of cinematic storytelling. Please provide a directing reel showcasing your short film work or previous narrative projects. We prefer candidates who have access to their own directing monitor setup, though this is not strictly essential. Prep will begin in the second half of September 2026, with principal photography planned for the second half of October 2026, encompassing roughly 3-4 weeks of shooting. Expect 10-12 hour days. A small production company will provide all other major equipment and a dedicated crew. We're aiming to make a festival-ready film. Please apply by October 3, 2026.
