Directing for Music Video

We need a visionary Director to bring a vibrant Atlanta hip-hop track to life through stunning visuals. This independent production offers creative freedom to craft a compelling narrative, focusing on themes of overcoming adversity and local pride. You'll be responsible for developing the full visual concept, storyboarding, shot listing, and leading the crew and talent on set to execute your vision. We're seeking a senior-level Director with a strong portfolio of music video work, ideally with experience in the hip-hop genre and a knack for dynamic storytelling. Please submit a reel demonstrating your directing prowess, especially your ability to evoke emotion and create visually striking moments. Gear is not provided, so you should be accustomed to working with various camera and lighting setups and be able to source or recommend equipment for the shoot. The shoot is anticipated to be a 1-2 day affair in late September or early October 2026, with prep work commencing about 2-3 weeks prior. This is a partnership opportunity, with compensation structured as a revenue share from the video's distribution and performance.
