Director: Atmospheric Austin Indie Music Video

Hey filmmakers, Bryce here. I'm a sound mixer, and I'm helping a colleague find a talented Director for an upcoming music video. This project is for an indie artist based here in Austin. We're looking at a pretty atmospheric, somewhat melancholic tone, blending urban grit with natural elements. Think moody, artful, and visually driven storytelling without relying on overly complex effects. It's a great opportunity for a director who can craft a strong narrative beyond just performance shots. We need someone with senior-level directing experience, a proven track record, and a strong visual style evident in their reel. Key responsibilities include all creative leadership, working closely with the artist to develop the visual concept, storyboarding, and guiding the overall execution during production. We're aiming for a 2-3 day shoot, tentatively planned for late June or early July, so flexibility then is a must. You'll bring your expertise and creative vision to the table. We’ll cover production expenses, and compensation for your directing work will be deferred, structured as points on the backend.
