Director for Indie Music Video
Hey filmmakers, my name's Ben and I'm a stunt coordinator here in LA. I'm helping a good friend, an independent recording artist, find a director for their upcoming music video. This track is alt-rock with some really cool dystopian themes and calls for a visually impactful, slightly gritty aesthetic. We're looking for someone who can bring a strong, unique vision to a narrative-driven concept. Your main gig will be developing the treatment, planning the visuals, and then bringing that vision to life on set. We need someone who can work efficiently, lead a small crew effectively, and really understand how to craft compelling storytelling within a music video format. Experience directing music videos or narrative shorts is key, so please send over your reel, especially if you have work with action or stylized visuals. Shoot dates are flexible but we're aiming for 2-3 days in mid-July. We're thinking 10-12 hour days. We'll have a small crew for camera, lighting, and art direction, but you'll be responsible for bringing your artistic leadership. The artist has a solid concept, but we need you to elevate it. Compensation is $200-400 per day, depending on experience. This is a great opportunity to get some creative work done on an interesting project.
