Director, Sci-Fi Pilot

Seeking a talented Director for an upcoming sci-fi pilot production, a compelling story with a dark, gritty tone set in a near-future metropolis. This independent production offers a unique opportunity to shape the visual narrative of a project aiming for festival submission and potential series development. You will be responsible for translating the script into captivating visuals, guiding the cast, and collaborating closely with department heads to achieve a cohesive creative vision. We're looking for a director with a strong cinematic voice, regardless of years in the industry. Your reel or portfolio should ideally showcase experience with narrative storytelling, demonstrating your ability to evoke atmosphere and direct actors effectively. Shoot dates are approximately 4-5 days, late August, likely 10-12 hour days. Location will be primarily in and around Los Angeles. Compensation is $200-400 per day, dependent on experience.
