Director, Corporate Video (Lagos, NG)

Seeking an entry-level Director for an engaging corporate video project based in Lagos. This isn't your typical dry corporate piece, we're aiming for a dynamic and visually compelling short film that tells a company's story through human experience, showcasing innovation and impact with a narrative flair. We need someone with a keen eye for visual storytelling and a strong understanding of how to connect with an audience. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the screenwriter, guiding the crew, overseeing all aspects of filming, and ensuring the project's vision is realized creatively and efficiently. You'll be instrumental in bringing this vision to life. We're looking for someone who can manage a small set effectively and extract strong performances. While you won't need to provide gear, please have your own reliable laptop for pre-production and on-set notes. A portfolio or reel demonstrating your directing sensibility, even from student films or personal projects, is essential. The shoot itself will be a compact 1-2 day affair, likely around September 7, 2026, with an additional week or so for pre-production remotely. Compensation is competitive at $2000-3000/week, reflecting the project's importance. Travel and local accommodation within Lagos will be provided if necessary.
