Director, Drama Pilot (Deferred)

Seeking an experienced Director for a Miami-based dramatic pilot, a character-driven story exploring themes of family legacy and ambition within a competitive culinary world. We're looking for someone who can bring a sophisticated visual style and a strong narrative hand, shaping compelling performances from our cast. This project has strong potential for series pickup, offering a unique opportunity to lead a promising new production. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the showrunner to define the pilot's creative vision, directing all principal photography, guiding cast performances, and overseeing the post-production workflow to ensure the final product aligns with our creative goals. Candidates should have a proven track record directing narrative drama, ideally pilots or short-form series, with a distinctive aesthetic. Please provide a directing reel showcasing your best work. We are aiming for principal photography around September 2026, with an estimated 10-12 shoot days. This is a senior role for an independent production, offering a backend percentage.
