Art Department for Pilot

Looking for a seasoned Art Director to join our independent production for an upcoming pilot in Albuquerque. This is a dark, character-driven drama, think gritty realism with surrealist undertones. We aim to create a visually striking world that deeply supports the story's psychological depth. You'll be responsible for leading all aspects of the art department, from conceptualization and design to set dressing and prop sourcing. This includes collaborating closely with the director and DP to translate the vision into tangible aesthetics. We need someone with a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to create compelling and cohesive production design, particularly for projects with a complex mood. Experience with limited budgets and maximizing visual impact is a huge plus. While this is a deferred pay position, we are committed to making this pilot a strong calling card for everyone involved. Shoot dates are TBD but anticipated for late spring, early summer, primarily on weekdays. We'll provide a core art budget and access to a local prop house.
