Editing for Commercial

We're looking for an Editor to help bring an upcoming commercial project to life. This independent production, a short form commercial for a local Albuquerque business, aims to be visually engaging and impactful, with a modern, clean aesthetic. We need someone who can craft a compelling narrative, even within a tight timeframe, making our client's message resonate. Your primary responsibility will be assembling raw footage into a polished final product, incorporating graphics, sound design elements, and music to create a dynamic commercial. You’ll be working closely with the director to ensure the client’s vision is met. Strong organizational skills are a must, as is an eye for pacing and storytelling. While specific gear isn't required (we have a workstation available), familiarity with industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve) is essential. Please provide a link to your reel or samples of your previous editing work, especially commercial or short-form content. This is an open-level position; we're interested in talent and potential. Post-production is anticipated to begin in the second half of October 2026, with an estimated workload of about 3 weeks of intermittent work. This is a partnership opportunity, compensation is via revenue share, detailed during discussions.
